Naia’s first soccer practice

Naia had her very first soccer practice on Tuesday. She was so nervous and excited leading up to it. We talked about it all day and she must have asked me 20 times if it was time to go. Before we left, she excitedly put on her shin guards, pants, and sweatshirt (it was a gloomy and cold day) and we were on our way! We were the first ones to arrive and watched the coaches set up two zones - one for the 3-4 year olds (Naia’s group) and one for the 4-5 year old big kids. The coaches were young and adorable and had the kids do a bunch of fun activities like races, pretending to be lions, red light-green light, an obstacle course, and capture the flag. Naia did so great!! She participated and listened but didnt like having her flag captured. In fact, when the little girl who had grabbed it out of her pants later fell down, Naia went over and snatched it out of her hand while she was laying on the ground. I laughed and cringed at the same time. 

Waiting for the coach to come ask her name and favorite color :) She's in the white sweatshirt and pink sweatpants.
