I flew down to LA last weekend to celebrate one of my oldest friends Sara, and her husband Jefri. They’re about to have their first baby, who they’ve nicknamed Baby Boontjie, which means “little bean” in Afrikaans (Jefri is from South Africa). It was the most special baby shower thrown by Sara’s mom and aunt in her parents backyard. I think we’ve attended twenty parties at Karen and Tom’s house over the years. It always feels like coming home, full of laughter and friends. I can't wait to meet this baby boy.

BFFs since we used to ride our bikes to the beach together in high school. I lived the furthest and would pick up Kelly and then we'd grab Ilana and Sara who would meet us at one of their houses and then we would ride to the beach.
