This was our first year really celebrating Halloween with the girls. In Hawaii our house was an hour from trick or treating neighborhoods and they were so young that we never bothered. We had the best time!! We went all out with decorations, visited two pumpkin patches, attended a party at a friends house, and went trick or treating with the Farrell’s while my parents handed out candy at the house. The girls loved everything about it. It occurred to me a few days before Halloween that Naia didn’t really know what trick or treating was so we practiced by knocking on doors in our house and yelling trick
Or treat! And then giving each other little toys. Once we were actually doing it, Naia couldn’t believe people were just giving her candy. She was about the happiest she’s ever been.
