The snow finally came (and it's still coming!) - December 2021

 After a very disappointing snowless November here in Bend, everyone was freaking out that we weren't going to get any snow this year. But on Ellie's birthday (December 10), it started snowing and it pretty much hasn't stopped since then. It's been absolutely beautiful and we've been taking full advantage with sledding, backcountry skiing (Dylan), snow walks, and lots of laughing at Dougie rub his face in snow all day. As a side note, I bought a 2016 Volvo SUV when we moved here that Dylan loves to make fun of because it's such a grandma car but it's absolutely amazing in the snow so NO REGRETS.
